Project Description

Pipe Piles are designed to transfer structural loads through the foundation to soils below. Standard pipe piles, micro piles, pin piles, marine piles, and other steel pipe piles are normally used in deep foundations to transfer the structure load to rock formations or to stronger soil conditions deep beneath the ground. Pipe Piles have substantial surface area that interacts with the surrounding soil to provide great frictional load resistance.

Pipe Piles are also used in conjunction with sheet piles to add lateral stiffness and bending resistance where loads exceed the capacity of sheet piles alone.

EAST PIPE is the largest construction supplier of Spiral pipe piling products. The most common grades of steel used in our steel pipe piling products include structural grade ASTM A 500 prime pipe, along with piling grades ASTM A 252 pipe and modified ASTM A 252 with 50 or 60 KSI minimum yield strength.
